This is the official news feed for Piledrivers & Divers Local 474. Bulletins are posted here and read out at the third-Friday meeting. If a notice has a deadline — scholarship, election, apprenticeship cycle — it will appear here first.
§ 02 · Latest bulletins
The Michael J. Dooley Scholarship supports the children of Local 474 members pursuing college or trade school. Applications for the current cycle are open at the hall — call Patricia McGuinness to request the packet.
The next GWO Basic Safety cohort — working at heights, sea survival, first aid, manual handling — is enrolling now. Required if you plan to work offshore wind. Contact the training center to reserve a seat.
The Local 474 Commercial Dive Center has posted updated cohort dates for surface-supplied and mixed-gas progression training. Talk to your rep at the next meeting or email wsnyder@eascarpenters.org.
Reminder: work-ready status on the Mix 20/20 dispatch line expires 30 days after your last sign-in. Miss it and you drop off the roll. Lost your PIN? Call the hall.

GWO Basic Safety
Runs quarterly at Hammonton for members planning to work offshore wind.
