§ 01 · Benefits
When you work on a signatory job, hours flow to the fund offices that manage health, welfare, and pension. Northern jurisdiction (PA · NJ · DE) reports to the Carpenters Combined Funds office in Philadelphia. Southern jurisdiction (MD · DC · VA) reports to Zenith American Solutions.
§ 02 · Fund offices
Call the office that covers your jurisdiction. Hours reciprocals, vacation checks, medical, dental, pension — this is where it all gets tracked.

§ 03 · Training & certifications
Dispatch is craft-specific. Add a craft by logging the training hours and passing the qualifying test. Talk to your council rep at the third-Friday meeting or call the training center to get on the list.
OSHA 30 is a five-year cycle. NCCCO rigger and signal-person certifications renew on the OSHA schedule. AWS structural welds require re-tests per the code. Miss a renewal, you can't work the job that requires it.
§ 04 · Safety & incident reporting
Every job site should have a written safety plan and a designated first-aider. If there's an incident — near-miss or injury — report it to the steward on-site, the contractor, and the hall.

The Michael J. Dooley Scholarship is Local 474's education fund for members' children. Applications open in fall; winners are announced at the September meeting.
